Used with display 6610-01-153-1807 to make up the vsd-du; replaces part number 4014805-922, nsn 6610-01-261-0316; this item has a conversion which changed the display presentation by deleting the previous ils box and replacing it with a localizer adn glide slope raw data deviation scale; a new ils/aila mode is created and selected with a new mode code switch position; the bezel lower light panel assembly will have the ils/aila legend engraved on it with the a new nameplate attacked to the du to identify the -923 conversion
