The su-270/pvs is a permanently aligned, inline night vision device that adds nighttime visible/near-infrared target acquisition and engagement capability to weapons with an installed dayscope. It is powered by 1 each lithium or alkaline aa battery, or 1 each lithium cr123 battery. It mounts to a mil-std-1913 rail interface via a single locking throw lever mount. The sensor is an auto-gated gen iii omni vi image intensifier. Color is tan. May be used with the m4a1 carbine, mk17 combat assault rifle, and is caliber non-specific.
