Special Features
Drain tank permits the safe disposal of excess liquid oxygen on-board military aircraft by allowing evaporation or boil-off of the liquid oxygen in these specialized containers. Fabricated from stainless steel and single wall constructed. Weight is 21 lbs. The relief valve pressure setting is 50 plus/minus 20 psig with a flow rate of 100 liters per minute. Unit is hydrostatically tested at 500 psig. Holds up to 32 liters of cryogenic fluid. Performance of the drain tank is in accordance with air force drawing 59d3854. Four carrying handles. Relief valve: 1/4 anpt thread per mil-p-7105. 5/16 flared tube fitting per and10056. Sphere rad: 7.879 plus/minus 0.062. Base length: 14.00 plus 0.12/minus 0.00. Height from base to top of sphere (not including relief valve): 15.9. Carrying handle inside length: 5.0 typ.
