A manually operated shears, consisting essentially of two cutting blades, two handles, and an assembly bolt. In addition it may include a series of levers and pins through which compound leverage may be accomplished. One of the handles is bent at an approximately 90 degree angle to the shear plane and has a square end for use in a tinners bench plate. Exclude shears that are mechanically secured to the bench.
