General Description
For gageing the level of liquids in tanks, the tape shall be glare free with a satin chrome-white finishw/black markings, handle shall lock tape at any desired setting, plumb bob shall be brass w/an eye at one end and a point at the other approx 15 oz in weight it shall be approx 6-3/4 in. Lg, hollowed out on one side to form an oil cup and to house a thermometer for reading the temp of oil, the opposite side shall have a six in. Scale with 1/4 in. Graduations, range of the thermometer minus 20 degrees f to plus 120 degrees f; tape shall be spring tempered steel not less than 1/2 in. Wide and not less than 0.0085 in. Or greater than 0.013 in. Thick and fitted w/a swivel snap
