An item designed for centering and supporting round work without centers, such as centerless armature shafts and the like, in the tailstock of small engine lathes by means of three or more self-centering brass or bronze jaws, or an adjustable collet type brass or bronze bushing. The jaws or bushing may be adjusted for either running fit or driving fit on the round work. It is attached to the lathe by means of a tapered shank. Excludes chuck, drill and chuck, universal jaw.
