General Description:
10 wheeled, 5 ton, diesel powered truck, consisting of a front support member and receptacle for the boom tip, locking pin hydraulic cylinder, personnel guard with hydraulic control station and access ladder, front bay support member with two roller assemblies and attachment for the boom backstay, hydraulic boom with four rollers, two tie down hooks and a hydraulic winch, the hydraulic system shall be an open centered circuit operating at 2500 psi, the pump shall be driven by a power take-off from the transmission and supply oil from a reservoir to a filter, two 5 in. Diameter cylinders for operation of the boom, a 3 in. Cylinder for locking the bay and a 10000 lb line pull hydraulic winch, the transporter shall have lights on the boom, a personnel guard for night operation and an electrically operated parking brake
