Laying dummy
An encased underwater explosive device designed to destroy or damage an object such as a ship or submarine. It may be detonated or activated by means of acoustic, magnetic, or pressure influence, contact, and/or remote control. It may be laid either by aircraft, surface vessels, or submarines. When empty or inert loaded it may be used for training purposes.
