A liquid composition of drying oil(s) and resin which is specifically compounded to produce a transparent or translucent hard finish after application as a thin layer. It may have other incidental values, such as resistance to fungus, and a degree of electrical insulation. It dries and sets by evaporation, oxidation and polymerization.
