Product Features

Makes permanent record of the fall of a body through marks made at known intervals on spark sensitive tape; consists of a column 1.5 m long to give sufficient falling distance for an accurate record to be made; the free fall body is held at the top by an electromagnet; when body is released and falls its progress is recorded by use of a spark generator; apparatus is mounted on a heavy tripod base fitted with leveling screws; 6 vac/dc power supply or battery needed to energize the electromagnet; cage 11273 p/n 31755 spark generator recommended to produce the permenant record; includes 1 roll of spark sensitive paper; spark paper that can be used with this item: p/n 74900-01 25 mm wax coated, p/n 74900-02 50 mm wax coated, p/n 31571 25 mm thermal and p/n 31572 50 mm thermal
