The model shows the enlarged thymus, which shrinks as the body matures. The brain, abdomen, and testicle are dissected to reveal the inner structures , and thyroid is dissected to show the parathyroids. The pituitary, supparenal, and the pancreas are also shown. Constructed of lighweight, durable plastic, the model is hand painted under the supervision of our staff anatomist to ensure the greatest accuracy.
