Technical characteristics: the an/tyq-7 (v)3 is an assemblage of commercial-off-the-shelf components of workstations , plotters, scanners and peripherals used to produce topographic products, i.E. Maps, overlays, etc using commercial, national imagery, and other data sources. The system is used in either an office environment or tactically using the tactical operations center lan for communications. The an/tyq-71(v) 3 is transported in transit cases designed to protect the equipment during movement 14-3. Operating power requirements: a. Ac b. 110/220 vac c. 50/60hz d. Single phase. A tactical, computer-based system that allows the geospatial intelligence analyst to utilize hardcopy and digital terrain data to produce real time and near real time information for the battlefield commander. It also allows for the hardcopy production of large format, multicolor topographic products in a timely manner. It comes in a light version and a deployable version. The light version has the equipment installed in a shelter mounted on the back of a vehicle with a towed generator and the deployable version is fitted in transit cases.
