Mfg name programmable power supply tester; the brat programmable power system (brat-pps) is a self-contained brat subsystem that can be used under control of the brat system controller or another properly configured ieee-488 controller; the b507 test system utlizies commercial-off-the-shelf (cots) equipment; the system is used to augment the existing brat capabilities to test power supplies; it can provide up to one thousand watts of dc power (33v, 33amp) and six 300 watt dynamic programable loads rated at 60v/60 amp; the dc loads are fully software programmable to allow field reconfiguration from 300w to 1800 w per chassis to meet changing test system load requirements; the software that is used in the controlling brat system is in an ms-windows environment.
