Fluorocarbon dry film lubricant; for metal and rubber substrates; for service temperatures up to 150 degrees c (continuous) and 160 degrees c (intermittent); cures in 60 minutes at 160 degrees c or 30 minutes at 180 degrees c or 10 minutes at 200 degrees c; color changes from blue to green when cured; resistant to oils, alcohols, ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons, dilute acids, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons and gasohol
A finish coat material composed of a base compound and an accelerator. The base material consists of an epoxy resin which is a reaction product of epichlorohydrin. The activator is normally a polyamide, polyamine, or similar compound. Usually, for colored epoxy finishes, only the base material contains pigment or dye, but both base and activator may be colored. The material may also be furnished with pigment separate from both base compound and accelerator.
Classification: Epoxide resins
