Product Features

The nighthunter is a handheld or mountable xenon short arc based searchlight that delivers both visible and covert infrared light (with optional near ir filter) to illuminate targets up to 1.5 mile away. The nighthunter's beam can be easily adjusted from a tight 0.5 degree spot to a 10 degree flood without any "black hole" in the beam to obstruct the field-of-view. The nighthunter is instant on, can be turned off and back on immediately (hot restrikable). The nighthunter has an internal rechargeable battery that provides 45 min. Of continuous operation at hight power or 75 min at low power (95% of the range of high power/reduced field of view), can be operated directly from any 12-32v DC power and can recharge the battery in 5 hours directly from any 12-32v DC power source. Weight 9.7 lbs, length 13", diameter 5".
